The Solar Electric Power Association (SEPA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA) on May 1 announced the opening of registration for this year’s “Solar Power Expo and Conference.” Hosted by San Diego from October 13-16, it is the largest solar event in North America. And by the looks of things, organizers are packing in way more kilowatts than last year’s event. Four hundred companies from 17 countries will exhibit this year, up from 210 companies in 2007. It’s anticipated that about 12,000 attendees will be lured by a program chock-full of conferences, panel talks, networking activities and, of course, really cool solar technology.
If you’re interested in attending, it’s recommended that you sign up ASAP: last year’s event sold out way in advance.

We are really glad we came across this post and the information about the expo in San Diego. Thanks for posting it. We are the first 100% solar powered shoe store, and we are really getting into it. We are going to look into going to the expo.
Thanks for posting.
