Virginia does not yet have a mandatory SREC program of which I'm aware.
From the information I have since I am not a resident of New Jersey I can not participate in the New Jersey program. My system will produce about a SREC every three weeks, on the average, where can I sell them?
Thank you,

Karen, if you installed your solar system with the help of the CT Solar Lease, you should be eligible to participate in their Solar Dividends program: the program aggregates the RECs of all participants for sale in the open market, then gives back the majority of the proceeds to the homeowners (they keep $15/REC for admin and program costs). Soon any CT homeowner may be able to participate in a similar program--we'll keep you posted on this blog, so stay tuned! You can try contacting certificate brokers for New England's bulk electric market, as well, to see if they will accept individual system owners.

Do you know of a market where Connecticut residents can sell renewable energy credits for the electricity produced by the solar PV panels on their roofs?
