The San Francisco green job industry took a hit this summer when the federal housing agency forced the city to cut green financing programs in the face of financial deficits. The move was disappointing for a city that is counting on such programs to expand the industry and tackle more green building projects, but it was not surprising. As of late, cuts to green financing programs have been more of the norm than an aberration.
