Today, India’s Renewable Energy Secretary Deepak Gupta announced that India will soon reach an important benchmark on its way to meeting its 2020 solar energy target.

Bright news came out of the Indian solar market yesterday as the county’s top energy officials announce that India is capable of reaching its 2015 renewable energy goal of meeting 10 percent of the nation’s energy needs with renewables.
