Our Services

Beachside Solar Technologies is a full service photovoltaic system integrator/installer serving the state of Hawaii, Guam, Pacific island nations and Asia. Our head office is located in Honolulu, Hawaii, and have a field office in Guam, and service Guam, CNMI, Okinawa, Japan and other parts of Asia. We are well known for photovoltaic projects that we have installed on United States military facilities in Hawaii, Guam, Okinawa and Japan. Our crews are well versed in performing in remote areas, and we are equipped and capable of designing and installing solar electric systems any where our customers require.

Our mother company, Beachside Roofing LLC is the largest commercial roofing contractor in Hawaii and the Pacific. With their head office in Lihue, Kauai, Beachside Roofing LLC is the leader in design and construction of any type of roofing system needed in Hawaii. Beachside Roofing LLC has performed large, complex roofing systems Pacific wide since 1984.

Our company is technology neutral, and we approach every project as application specific. In photovoltaic system design and installation, there is no "one size fits all". There are many factors to consider when choosing the correct photovoltaic system or technology for a given project. Roof size, roof type, roof deck construction, roof pitch, building orientation, building construction, shading from surrounding buildings, mountains or vegetation, aesthetics and ultimately the amount of power required by the customer all play a part in deciding which photovoltaic module form or photovoltaic technology type to install.

We design and install any photovoltaic system type required, both grid interconnected as well as off-grid systems. We represent many major manufacturers of photovoltaic modules, inverters and mounting systems. We are considered leaders in BIPV (Building Integrated Photovoltaic) system technology, and have installed more of these system types than anyone else in our service areas. BIPV systems are available in various forms such as flexible thin film PV modules adhered to single ply roofing membranes and standing seam metal roof, crystalline PV tiles that integrate with concrete roofing tiles and thin film photovoltaic shingles that integrate with standard asphalt roofing shingles.

By performing both roofing and solar electric projects together, we have the ability to provide single source warranty responsibility for both systems, instead of separate warranty responsibilities that can lead to headache for the customer. This is one of the many services and advantages we provide to our customers.
