With an eye on green energy and finding ways to quickly and cost-effectively improve solar power, Clarke Clean launched NOC on Solar in late 2008. The Silicon Valley represents the Solar Capital of the US. With the world’s leading semiconductor companies in the same area, it only makes sense that the next evolution of solar innovation is launching right here in Santa Clara County.  We now see a blending of semiconductor companies and solar companies to take solar power to the next level, on a worldwide scale. NOC on Solar is an innovative solution that is being incorporated in the evolution at every stage, from manufacturing to an after-market solution.

Clarke Clean’s focus is to provide a cleaning level that includes environmentally correct products and practices that allow a standard of cleanliness to be reached so that the end result is “Clarke Clean”.  This effort is founded on a nano-technology that was established with environmentally friendly components and packaged within materials that are completely biodegradable.

NOC on Solar  is a 2-Step application process, in most cases. Step 1 includes cleaning the glass surface to remove any microscopic debris, oils, and environmental contaminants.  Step 2 includes the application of our proprietary NOC on Solar. NOC on Solar  is a self-assembling nanotechnology. This is advantageous to Greenleaf-TNX in that nanotechnology allows reduced use of a product and self-assembling assures that product waste is minimized because the product will not layer upon itself.

Advantageously, in the case of manufactured glass that has not left the manufacturing facility, Step #1, cleaning, can be eliminated or minimized.

Additionally, the NOC on Solar cleaners have gone through a product evolution to create new, easier-to-use formulas.  Our XS extra strength formula now contains a rewetting agent which allows for easier removal. It is also water soluble solution so it can be thinned as needed and removed with water in addition to hand buffing.

Our regular strength cleaner has been reformulated with a proprietary composition that differs from XS. This cleaner is ideal for recently manufactured glass that has not been exposed to the elements or for glass that is not heavily damaged.

NOC on Solar has been tested by local panel manufacturers to provide us with quantifiable date demonstrating sustainability, performance.
