Full Service Design & Installation
SOL POWER TECH  provides an analysis of the customer’s energy use, identifies ways to reduce the overall energy demand, designs a system specific to the customer’s needs, and installs the system using NABCEP industry leading installations practices. We design the systems to factor in all site restrictions and maximize system performance. We take care of pulling all the necessary permits, submitting all the rebate paperwork, and interfacing with the building departments and utilities as needed to connect the systems. Our goal is to give the best system design and the highest quality installation services available.

Modules
Typically mounted on a roof with unobstructed exposure to the southern sky, the modules converts sunlight directly into DC electricity. They are extremely reliable, are virtually maintenance-free, and they have very long lives. In fact, most modules have warranties for 20 to 25 years and have demonstrated lives far in excess of this. The modules are usually the biggest cost driver in a solar system.

Inverters
The inverter is mounted near your existing electric meter. It converts the DC electricity from the modules into AC electricity that matches what you get from the utility and use in your home normally. The inverters have historically been the main area for system problems. In recent years reliabilit has increased significantly.

Racking Systems
The racking system attaches the modules to the roof or supports the modules in ground mounted systems. They are designed to provide sufficient support for the systems for various weather and seismic conditions while minimizing loads on the roof. Monitoring
Monitoring solutions allow you to see how much power your system is generating and what the system performance has been. Alarms can also be set to enable notification in the event there is a problem with the system. Our hosted monitoring solutions are provided by certified third parties that specialize in monitoring and in inverter/system performance.
