Southwestern Solar specializes in the design, installation and maintenance of turnkey, solar PV (photovoltaic) solar power systems. Southwestern Solar is a subsidiary of Green Valley Cooling and Heating. Our parent company has been serving southern Arizona for 41 years. We strive to provide a level of service that exceeds our customers expectations. Southwestern Solar is made up of a team of professionals who have received extensive training in the industry. Energy Audits
The first step in reducing the initial cost of a PV solar system is to reduce the energy being used in the home. For example, reducing the electrical lighting load by 75%, by using fluorescent instead of incandescent lights, will reduce the number of modules needed in a given system. Our energy audit program will help you identify ways to use energy more efficiently. 

Grid-tied Solar Power
Our grid-tied solar power systems allow you to sell power back to the utility company when you are producing more then you are using. Each system converts the suns energy into DC power, which is then sent to an inverter where AC power is produced and fed back into your electrical system service panel. 

Off-grid Solar Power
Our off-grid solar power systems generate and store power when there is no access to the utility grid. Each system converts the suns energy into DC power, which is then sent to and stored in a battery bank. The power can then be used directly or converted to AC power. 

Stand By Power Systems
Our Bryant standby generator assume control of your electrical needs when a power outage occurs. Within seconds, back-up electricity is provided to your home or business.

Hybrid Power Systems
Hybrid power systems provide the best of both worlds. These systems provide critical power when you just can’t live without it. A hybrid system is a combination of PV, wind, hydro, or generator power incorporated with or without batteries into a seamless energy system.

Wind Power
Our small wind-electric systems can provide electricity on remote, off-grid sites, or right in town connected to the utility grid. Wind-electric systems can make economic and environmental sense.

We are available on a 24 hour basis to service all solar equipment installed by us in southern Arizona.

Installation
All installations are carried out by our own highly trained team of professionals. We install photovoltaic solar power systems, hybrid power systems, automatic emergency generator systems and wind power systems. 

Maintenance
We provide planned maintenance to all solar equipment installed by us. Although most solar systems require little maintenance, we are committed to making sure your system is performing up to design specifications.

Warranties
All parts and equipment bear the manufacturers. Typically 20-25 years on PV modules and 10-15 years on inverters, depending on the specific manufacturer.
