STUDIO ELEMENT is a multidisciplinary, eco friendly design firm focusing on sustainable solutions to architecture, landscape architecture, urban planning, and furniture design/fabrication.   We focus in San Francisco as well as the North, South and East Bay.

Charles Crocker Curran was born and grew up in Villanova, PA and currently resides in San Francisco, CA.  In 2003, Mr. Curran founded Studio Element LLC.  Prior to leaving Arcanum Architecture in 2006 to focus entirely on Studio Element, Mr. Curran had worked for Kaplan McLaughlin Diaz in San Francisco, CA and Charles F. Jennings in Oakland, CA.  He has held many positions from member of design team to project architect. 

MISSION STATEMENT:
Studio Element is committed to the exploration and harmony between Architecture and Environment, resulting in Balance.  While grouping single elements together using an innovative and creative approach, and working closely with the client to help facilitate their vision, we arrive at a unique and desired experience.

Mr. Curran holds a B.A. in journalism from Ohio Wesleyan University and a Masters of Architecture and a Masters of Landscape Architecture from the University of Pennsylvania, Graduate School of Fine Arts.   Mr. Curran is a Certified Green Building Professional.
