James “Sean” Roberts is the owner/operator of Wave Electrical Services (and soon "solarwave") located in Kettering, Ohio. He started the company in January 2006. He also teaches part-time for the IBEW Local 82 NJATC apprenticeship program. He has taught the Industrial Motor Control course since he graduated from the program in 2005. Since his NABCEP certification, Sean has also begun to teach Photovoltaic Systems. 

As an electrical contractor, he has developed a company that conducts quality electrical services to residential, commercial and industrial customers. Sean is a Licensed Electrical Contractor through the State of Ohio. He also serves a major home improvement chain as the Regional Electrical Contractor.

Sean is a successful graduate of a five year electrical apprenticeship program in Ohio. He graduated saluvictorian with a 94.4% cumulative grade point percentage. He has also obtained the degree of Associate of Technical Study (Engineered Electrical Systems Management) from Sinclair Community College, Dayton, Ohio. Sean graduated with Honors with a 3.5 cumulative grade point average. In September of 2009, he passed The North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) exam and is now a certified solar PV installer.
